However, different chrysanthemum flowers are more suited for different situations. 

Our Freeze Dried Wild Kunlun Baby Snow Chrysanthemum is sourced from the alpine region of the Kunlun Mountains in China. These wild buds are rare due to their short blooming season and low yield, and are harvested when the flowers are not fully bloomed. They are pre-washed and freeze-dried at low temperatures to best preserve the nutrients.

The low temperatures in the mountains slow down the growth of the flowers, giving them time to acquire more flavour and nutrients. They are also more aromatic and fragrant than the Kunlun Snow Chrysanthemum.

Suggested use:
Infuse 1-2 teaspoons in 250ml of hot water (≤80°C) for about 10 minutes before consuming. For a cold brew tea, use room temperature water instead and refrigerate for 2 hours or longer if you prefer a stronger taste.

Recommendation:
Infuse chrysanthemum with wolfberries (gǒu qǐ; 枸杞) or red dates (hóng zǎo; 红枣) to relieve tired eyes and nourish the blood, or mix chrysanthemum with some honeysuckle (jīn yín huā; 金银花) and rock sugar to soothe a sore throat and dispel heat.
