Preparation steps:
● Soak the raw bird's nest in cold water for 3-4 hours or overnight in the fridge.
● Rinse well and go through the bird’s nest to pick out any loose feathers or dirt.
● Place the pre-soaked bird’s nest in a pot and add 1-2 bowls of water for every nest cooked, depending on your preference.
● Add in complementing herbs such as American ginseng, wolfberries, or red dates.
● Double boil and simmer for 2-3 hours until the bird’s nest is soft.
● Add rock sugar and stir to dissolve. Serve it hot.
