Canadian ginseng has similar efficacies to American ginseng, with a slightly sweeter aftertaste. In TCM, it is regarded as an Yin-tonic that is cooling, Qi-tonifying, and yet calms the spirit. Yin represents the energy that is responsible for moistening and cooling bodily functions. It is often used to restore Yin-Yang balance in cases of excess heat or dryness in the body (e.g. sore throat, ulcers, dry stool or constipation, etc).

Dried longans may look unassuming but these dried fruits are commonly used in TCM to address blood deficiency. They tonify both the heart and spleen, thereby promoting Qi and blood production. Their blood-nourishing and calming properties make them a great tonic for postpartum recovery, and in supporting those with Qi or blood deficiency, sleep issues and high stress.

Wolfberries (枸杞) also known as goji berries, have long played important roles in TCM besides their use in food and culinary. In TCM, it nourishes the liver and kidneys and improves eyesight. It also has immune-boosting and anti-aging properties.

Golden Edge Rose is rich in antioxidants and vitamins. Distinct for its vibrant buds encased in a yellow-green leaf shell, this rose variety releases a soothing, lasting fragrance when brewed, helping to promote relaxation. Canadian ginseng: 3g to 6g
*Recommended dosage for children aged 3-11: approximately 1g for ages 3-5 and 2g for ages 6-11, 2-3 times a month.

Suggested use: Infuse in hot water for 5 minutes before drinking or add it to soups for more nutritious meal times.

Snack on these dried wolfberries, or add them into herbal teas, desserts, or soups.

Golden Edge Rose: Infuse 2-3 pieces in 250ml of hot water (≤80°C) for 5 minutes before consuming. For a cold brew tea, use room temperature water instead and refrigerate for 2 hours or longer if you prefer a stronger taste.

Note: It is recommended to pour away the first brew to 'wash' the tea.
