How to make a nourishing dǎng shēn tea (党参茶):
Rinse herbs before use. Cut black dates into halves and remove their seeds before use. Add 40g Dǎng shēn (党参), 20 seedless red dates (红枣), 3 black dates (南枣), and 10 dried longans into 1.5 litres of water. Bring to a boil and let it simmer under low heat for one hour. Add in a handful of wolfberries in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve it warm. (Serving size: 3 to 4)
